Shelco Filters has created the MicroSentry wound cartridge, setting a higher standard for industries requiring cartridge filtration. Our equipment makes achieving precision patterns, a matter of standard procedure. Our state-of-the-art computerized production machinery takes the variables out of custom winding and enables us to produce filter cartridges that are accurately wound from a single strand of specially selected fibrous roving material, wound around a perforated core in a nearly perfect geometric pattern.
MicroSentry wound cartridges can be produced from a wide range of materials. With a range of 0.5-150 microns filtration, solids from liquids, compressed air or gases, the MicroSentry Cartridges have been nominally rated to exceed 98% efficiency, by independent laboratory tests. Field testing results have confirmed that MicroSentry Cartridges can hold up to 300% of their weight in impurities at 30 PSID.
From the inspection of raw, fibrous materials, to the selection of the precision perforated cores, a MicroSentry Cartridge is monitored at every stage. The critical quality control techniques assure you that your order is ready to use just the way it is received. Shelco inspects each cartridge…so you don’t have to.
In order to adapt to your filtration application, we offer a wide variety of raw materials.
We can be as flexible as your own individual requirements dictate. Once we have determined the specific cartridge for your own unique filtration need, you can be confident that all others will exactly conform to those standards.
Whatever your application may be, we specialize in the development of prototypes, short runs or long runs. From core covers, to special materials compatible with your solutions, MicroSentry Cartridges ultimately will meet you micron filtration specifications.
When you specify a filter cartridge, it is important to consider the numerous differences in the construction of each: micron ratings, materials, length and end treatment. The variation in the production of each cartridge with its individual characteristics is directly related to your specific application. We offer cartridges with end treatments to fit you existing equipment.
