SINGLE BAG GENERAL PURPOSE BAG FILTER HOUSINGS

EYE BOLT SERIES BAG FILTER HOUSINGS

GENERAL INFORMATION – EYE BOLT SERIES

EB series housings for commercial, industrial and process applications. Housings are offered in carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel. The cover is secured by three eye bolt – eye nut assemblies. One of them acts as a hinge. The housings are manufactured from investment cast covers and collars. The cover is cast with a handle across the top in combination with a concave shape which acts as a liquid displacer. A 1/4” NPT port is cast in the cover to provide vent or pressure gauge locations.

STRAINER BASKET OPTION

All housings are available with perforated or mesh lined cleanable strainer baskets in place of filter bag baskets. These baskets can be perforated or mesh lined. The baskets are supplied with a handle across the top for easy installation.

GENERAL INFORMATION – TOP ENTRY SERIES

High tech top entry single bag housing design for those applications where critical recquirements call for the highest degree of reliability. The cover acts to restrain the filter bag or strainer basket with its 360° contact. The cover is secured by four eye bolt – eye nut assemblies. One of them acts as a hinge. The housings are manufactured from investment cast covers and collars. The cover is cast with a handle across the top in combination with a concave shape which acts as a liquid displacer. When the cover is opened, the liquid level is below the top of the filter due to the concave shape of the cover. This design feature corrects a design fault present in other over-the-top designs.

EB series housings for commercial, industrial and process applications. Housings are offered in carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel. The model D80 is a side entry dual bag housing with two 8” outside diameter housings offered in one standard length manifolded together for flow rates up to 360 gpm. The cover is secured by three eye bolt – eye nut assemblies. One them acts as a hinge. The housings are manufactured from investment cast covers and collars. The cover is cast with a handle across the top in combination with a concave shape which acts as a liquid displacer.

GENERAL INFORMATION – DUPLEX SYSTEMS

Duplex systems are offered in carbon steel, 304 or 316 stainless steel. Duplex systems are recommended for those applications where continuous operation is required. A single inlet and outlet is fabricated together with four valves and a single lever. The flow is diverted from one housing to the other by simply turning the lever. While one housing is in operation, the other can be serviced and the filter bag changed without interrupting the flow.
